Pamphlet. At this Royal Review of the Police there were present contingents from every police force in the UK. In these forces there was a total of 76,000 men and women, of whom about 10,000 were on parade. The parade included regular policemen and policewomen, mounted police, special constables, police cadets, police dogs and police vehicles. There were also present representatives of the special constabularies maintained by the Service Departments, the British Transport Commission and certain other authorities.
