Softcover.The Whitechapel Journal was founded by Stephen Wright, a Ripperologist who was based in New York. Stephen wrote 'Jack the Ripper - an American View' a p/back published in 1999 and limited to 150 copies. The first issue of Whitechapel Journal was published in Autumn 1996, and thereafter every Spring and Autumn until Stephen sadly died. The contents of issue 7 includes : News About the First US Conference on the Whitechapel Murders; Female Serial Killer Aileen Wuornos by Virginia Love Long; The Second George (Hutchinson) as the Ripper by Dr. Frederick Walker + Book Reviews. 15pp. A4 stapled magazine format.
