Paperback. The author's skilful account clearly demonstrates something had gone wrong with a system that took so long to discover the 'Bovingdon Bug'. Graham Young, a Hertfordshire storeman was found guilty on June 29, 1972 of murdering two of his workmates and administering poison to 4 others. He was sentenced to life imprisonment (where he died in 1994). Immediately, the story broke that he had been sent to Broadmoor in 1962, aged 14, for poisoning his father, sister and a schoolfriend. Although recommended that he serve at least 15-yrs, he was released after only 9. With Epilogue + Index. 141pp. mass market p/back.
