PUNCH, OR THE LONDON CHARIVARI Volumes 94 and 95

Hardback. Bound volumes of 'Punch' magazine from February 25, 1888 to December 22, 1888, plus at the rear of the volume, December 8, 1887. Included are the famous illustrations subsequently used in many other publications relating to Jack the Ripper, namely : The Nemesis of Neglect (Sept. 29, 1888), Horrible London (Oct. 13, 1888)and Whitechapel 1888 (Oct. 13, 1888), plus Extremes Meet Sir Edmund and Sir Charles (Nov. 24, 1888). Unfortunately Blindman's Buff (Sept. 22, 1888) is missing, along with several other weeks (Oct. 20, Nov. 3 and 10 1888). An extremely interesting Ripper associated item for the discerning collector. Bound-in with reinforced hinges fr. and back. Lightly browned eps and edges, small white mk. to fr. cover (see image), 'Punch 1888' gilt lettering to sp. Vg. Scarce. A fairly heavy book which may require additional postage if shipped overseas.
