Hardback. ....from Trinity Term in the second year of King George I to Trinity Term in the twenty-first year of King George II, taken and collected by the Right Honourable Sir John Strange, Late Master of the Rolls, In Two Volumes Published by his Son, John Strange of the Middle Temple Esquire. Sir John Strange (1696-1754) was Solicitor-General and Master of the Rolls. These two volumes are based on notes he took over the years, and were published after his death. With Table of the Names of Cases and Table of the Principal Matters. Two large volumes : Vol. I 714pp.; Vol. II 558pp. (pages numbered consecutively from Vol. I) Folio (13"x 8") in contemporary full calf binding. Bindings are sound, but the hinges and eps have been repaired/strengthened internally with tape. The covers of both volumes are rubbed and scuffed with bumping to head and tail of spines. Both G+. Scarce. A heavy set at over 5kg without packaging, so will require additional postage + insurance cover.
