Hardback. The true story of Judias Buenoano Florida's serial murderess. She was bright, attractive and capable of murder. She was born in Texas in the 1940s and christened Ann Lou Welty. After discarding other names, she settled on Judias Buenoano, and under that name she was indicted for murder. Arthur Michael Schultz, father of Judias's first son, died under mysterious circumstances. Michael Schultz, their son, crippled and in braces, drowned on a canoe ride with his mother. James E. Goodyear, Judias's husband, died shortly after returning from the Vietnam war. Bobby Joe Morris, a former lover of Judias, died under mysterious circumstances. John Gentry, Judias's fiance, survived an explosion in his car after refusing to take "vitamins" that made him ill and were actually laced with arsenic. These were just some of the men who were victims of Buenoano, the personable owner of a chain of nail salons in Pensacola, Florida. In addition to running a successful business, she believed that murder could be profitable. And for a long time it was, as she was the beneficiary of her "loved ones." At the time of publication, she had been under sentence of death in a Florida prison, where her execution had been postponed half a dozen times. With Epilogue. 319pp. lge. 8vo. h/back. From the library of true crime writer, Wilfred Gregg, with his personal b/plate. With sl. slanted sp. o/w Vg+ in F. dw. a fairly heavy book which may require additional postage.
