Hardback, 1st edn. SIGNED BY BRUCE REYNOLDS. On August 8, 1963, 15 masked men stopped the night mail train from Glasgow to London and robbed it of £2,500,000. It was called the crime of the century, and the thieves were pursued relentlessly by Scotland Yard until half the gang were brought to court and sentenced to long terms of imprisonment. Two escaped from prison (Ronnie Biggs remained free), but 13-yrs. later most of the gang were released on parole. They combined to tell their story for the first time. Illus., Maps, Appendix and Bibliog. 285pp. 8vo. h/back. With Tipped-in label SIGNED BY BRUCE REYNOLDS. Also includes a loosely inserted b/w (rather grainy) photograph, approx. 12" x 8", of Ronnie Biggs, (in defiant mood!) from 'The Great Train Robbery & Ronnie Biggs' auction held on June 16, 2015 by J P Humbert Auctioneers Ltd' and is SIGNED BY RONNIE BIGGS.
