Softcover. The Whitechapel Journal was founded by Stephen Wright, a ripperologist who was based in New York. Stephen wrote 'Jack the Ripper - An American View' a p/back published in 1999 and limited to 150 copies. The first issue of Whitechapel Journal was published in Autumn 1996, and thereafter every Spring and Autumn until Stephen sadly died. The contents of Issue No. 8 includes : Ripper Not a Member of a Minority Group by Stephen Wright; Diddles (the Cat) Does Mitre Square, short story by Virginia Love Long and An Overnight Stay at the Lizzie Borden House? + Book Reviews.
